About the function
As an order picker/shopper at the AH online center in Utrecht, you’re responsible for collecting groceries for our online customers. You make sure every order is picked correctly and completely, so customers can always count on the quality and service Albert Heijn is known for. You’ll work in one of the most modern logistics centers in the Netherlands, where teamwork and accuracy are key.
On a typical workday, you start with a short team meeting. Then you begin picking orders: you walk through the warehouse, scan products, and carefully place them in the right crates. You check if everything matches the order and help your colleagues when needed. You’ll work variable shifts, so sometimes at night or on weekends. About the company
Everybody is rotating at the jobs between department Fresh and Long-lasting! You start at Houdbaar (long-lasting)!
o Checking picked orders for correct quantities and ensuring pallets are stacked according to customer guidelines.
o Orderpicking by hand picking system (managed by performance)
o Order Picking: Collecting customer orders using a handpicking system (terminal); accuracy and attention to detail are important.
o Orderpicking is the most important task
