We are Workstead; a full-service staffing organization in the Netherlands. We attach great importance to your privacy and the protection of your (personal) data and private life. If you share this data with us, we will take good care of it in accordance with the Privacy Act, General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). In this Privacy statement, you will learn what data we use and how we store, protect and process this data.
1.1 Workstead privacy principles
Workstead does not sell your personal data to third parties. You remain in control of your data at all times. Workstead's core activity is matching (foreign) employees seeking work with companies in the following sectors: cleaning, food, industry, logistics, production and technical.
1.2 Definitions in this Privacy statement
- "WS Dienstverlening," "Workstead," "Employment Agency," "we," "us," "our," refer to Workstead, whose address is: Vendelier 65, 3905 PD Veenendaal, the Netherlands, which controls and processes the data.
- "User" refers to users, professionals, and visitors to our websites, online pages and services.
- "You," "your" refers to the User reading this Privacy statement.
- "Personal Information" or "Personal Data" refers to information that identifies you as an individual.

1.3.1 Information you provide yourself
When you sign up to our services or work via Workstead, we will request personal data necessary to provide our services. This includes the following (required) information:
- Full name;
- Gender;Date of birth;

- Home country;
- Mobile number;
- Curriculum Vitae (cv);
- Motivational letter;
- Any other information you enclose with your application.
Without this information, we cannot proceed the registration.

To help us provide further assistance in the recruitment process, we may ask the following additional information:
- Gender;
- Date of birth;
- Language;
- Citizen Service Number BSN;
- Education level;
- In possession of a driver's license;
- Arrival and availability date;
- Preferred job/sector;
- Any other information.
1.3.1.3 Special and/or sensitive data
We do not intend to collect data from individuals under the age of 16 without parental consent. If you suspect we have such information, please contact jobs@workstead.nl to have it removed.
1.3.1.4 Personal data shared with others
You are responsible for the information you share in email, chat or other platforms through Workstead’s services.
1.3.1.5 Activity data on our website
To improve the user experience on our website, we collect data regarding visitor activities. This data may include the following activities: page views, time spent on the website or page, interactions with content, scrolling behavior, form submissions etc. We collect and process this information using tracking tools, including Google Analytics, as well as cookies.

All activity data collected is stored in a secure database. Accessible only to authorized employees. The data is automatically deleted after 12 months.

1.4 Purposes of data collection
Workstead collects your data to:
- Facilitate a personalized recruitment process;
- Match you with relevant job positions;
- Share your data with clients;
- Notify you of relevant job positions or updates.
1.5 Data retention
Workstead retains personal data only as long as necessary. Mandatory information like name and contact details will be stored for up to 12 months unless ongoing services require a longer retention.
1.6 Data sharing with third parties
We may share your data with trusted partners or to comply with legal obligations. We will only do so with your consent unless legally mandated.
1.7 Your rights over your data
You have full control over your data, including rights to access, rectify or delete the data. You may also request a copy of your data or have it transferred to a different organization upon request. You may withdraw consent at any time, impacting future data and recruitment processing.
1.7.1 Exercising your rights
Requests can be sent to jobs@workstead.nl. Include a copy of your ID with protected information (e.g., blacked out photo and Citizen Service Number (BSN) to verify your identity and protect your privacy. Workstead will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within four weeks. Workstead would also like to inform you that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national regulator, the Personal Data Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP). 2.1 Website security measures and verification
Workstead uses security technologies to prevent unauthorized access, misuse or loss of your data. This includes secure storage and access restrictions for employees. Before submitting personal data, check for a secure connection icon near the URL. Our website is secured to protect all transmitted information.
If, despite our security measures and protocols, a (suspected) data breach occurs, please notify your Workstead contact or ict@workstead.nl immediately. Once confirmed, we will report the breach to the Personal Data Authority within 72 hours, in compliance with legal requirements. If the breach poses any direct risk to you, we will inform you accordingly.
3.1 Transfer of data internationally
If data transfer outside the European Economic Area (EEA) is required, we ensure that it is protected under appropriate safeguards in compliance with AVG.
3.2 Data minimization policy
We collect only the data necessary for delivering services and ensure that any redundant information is periodically reviewed and deleted.
3.3 Automated decision-making
Workstead does not use fully automated decision-making processes to evaluate personal data or suitability for positions.

Workstead may analyze job-related data to improve our services; however, we do not engage in any profiling without prior consent.
