About the function

As a Production Worker in the meat processing industry, you’ll play a vital role in preparing high-quality pork products. This is a hands-on position where you’ll gain valuable experience in several specialized departments, including slaughter, organ processing, intestinal cleaning, and packaging.
On a typical day, you’ll be assigned to a specific department after your introduction. Depending on your placement, you might be operating machinery to process carcasses, packing organs according to customer requirements, cleaning intestines for further processing, or preparing and packaging meat cuts in a chilled environment. Most work is done in warm conditions (30-35°C), and you’ll need to be comfortable with strong odors and the unique sights of freshly processed meat. Shift times are flexible, and you’ll work 40 guaranteed hours per week with three scheduled breaks.
