About the function
As a Production Employee, you may be assigned to one of the following roles:
- Ontkoster: Derinding and slicing cheese (right-handed equipment).
- Packaging/Labeling: Packing, correcting, and laying cheeses.
- Ripening: Brushing and stacking cheese.
- Forklift/Reach Truck Driver: Operating a forklift or reach truck (Dutch certificate required).
- Logistics Worker: Physical work in logistics.
Work Conditions:
- Temperature: 4-7°C.
- Conditions: Dry, production areas are warmer (5-7°C); logistics areas are cooler (4°C). Warm work jackets are provided by the company.
Shifts & Working Hours:
- Verpakking 1 & 3: 06:00 – 14:00, 14:00 – 22:00.
- Verpakking 2: 06:00 – 14:00, 14:00 – 22:00, 22:00 – 06:00.
- Logistics/Ripening: 05:45 – 14:00, 14:00 – 22:15, 22:15 – 05:45.
- Working Hours: 8 hours per day, with possible overtime (up to 12 hours) and occasional weekend work during busy periods.
- Breaks: 2x 15 minutes, 1x 30 minutes.
What we offer
Compensation:
- Hourly Wage: €14.06 for production/logistics,
- ripening; €15,66 for forklift/reach truck drivers.
- Overtime and Shift Rates:
- Monday – Friday: 22:00 – 07:00 = 40%, 18:00 – 22:00 = 30%.
- Saturday: 00:00 – 07:00 = 40%, 07:00 – 15:00 = 30%, 15:00 – 22:00 = 60%, 22:00 – 00:00 = 120%.
- Sunday: 00:00 – 22:00 = 120%, 22:00 – 00:00 = 40%.
Housing:
- Furnished accommodation (€130 per week, 2 persons per room).
- Type: House.
- Commute: By bicycle or car.
